Qualifications

• BSMET/BSME degree or equivalent essential.
• Proficiency with 3D CAD Package essential.
• Proficiency in English language for communication is crucial.
• Strong project management skills are essential.
• Seal design experience is highly desirable.
• Elastomer/plastic processing and tooling experience highly desirable.
• Experience in hydraulics and fluid dynamics highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and support rubber, plastic and metal component designs for internal and external manufacturing resources as a result of a Customer Request.
• Create a detailed manufacturing drawing with dimensions and tolerances; support design concepts with FEA.
• Participate in key customer visits with sales engineers and account managers.
• Collaborate with suppliers for materials, components and manufactured product; tool design considerations and cost.
• Identify training opportunities for self-development.
• Support Quality System accreditation.
