Summary

The Product Engineer provides primary customer contact for New Product Launch (NPL) activities and is responsible for all manufacturing processes, materials, and tooling to ensure products meet customer expectations.

Responsibilities
  • Lead manufacturing activities of assigned products through prototype, pilot, and production.
  • Implement customer documentation changes and internal change orders.
  • Participate in new customer and new business development.
  • Analyze line return information to drive corrective action on manufacturing process issues.
  • Perform product‑level FMEAs as required.
  • Participate in Lean, Six Sigma, and Kaizen continuous improvement activities.
  • Review engineering design drawings and DFX reports before production release for manufacturability.
  • Evaluate and qualify new manufacturing processes, materials, and equipment.
  • Lead internal and external corrective action plans.
  • Comply with company policies and procedures.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Education

4‑year Engineering or Technical degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience as approved by executive management.

Geographical Location: Minnesota: Rochester.

Physical Location: Rochester, MN.

Shift: Shift 2.

Work Schedule: M‑Th 1200-2230.

Full Time.

Compensation Range

$71,678.00 to $89,517.00 USD.
