Job summary

In this cross-functional role you will support strategic plans, liaise with sales and marketing, and provide direction to engineers and support personnel, ensuring product integrity through development

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or materials science.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience with solid modeling tools; FEA experience is a plus.
• Effective communicator with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Team-oriented, innovative, and eager to design new products.

Responsibilities

• Maintain product quality and reliability, analyze failures in customer applications and processes.
• Integrate new technologies and cost initiatives into product designs.
• Manage documentation and specifications across components, processes, and field performance.
• Serve as technical liaison for sales/marketing and provide guidance to engineers.
• Collaborate with suppliers and manufacturing for prototyping, pilot production, and beta sites.
• Support NPIs and ensure smooth transition to volume manufacturing in cost-effective regions.
• Assist design teams in tolerance analysis, FEA, material evaluation and failure analysis.
• Participate in material identification and new manufacturing techniques.
