Skyrocket Ventures, Inc. in San Francisco, CA, is seeking a Product Engineer / Full Stack Software Engineer to join a health & longevity startup.

The team works in the office 5 days a week, in a high-performance, fast-paced environment focused on transforming healthcare with diagnostics and AI. You will design and implement end-to-end software, collaborating with product, design and clinical teams, and build scalable microservices and web apps while contributing to product strategy.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of experience as a software engineer focused on full stack development.
• Expertise with React, Node.js, TypeScript, and related tooling.
• Strong in at least one: Node.js, Python, TypeScript, Java, Go, or Ruby on Rails.
• Solid knowledge of system design, APIs, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud services (AWS/Fargate).

Responsibilities

• Ideally 50/50 front/backend. Depending on your preference you could be up to 70% in either direction.
• Designing and implementing end-to-end software solutions, from front-end components to backend infrastructure.
• Collaborating with product, design, and clinical teams to shape a seamless, user-centric health platform.
• Building and maintaining scalable microservices architecture and modern web applications.
• Owning technical decisions and contribute to company-wide product strategy and planning.
• Establishing and enforce best practices in testing, security, and performance optimization.
• Contributing to the continuous improvement of engineering workflows and infrastructure.

Product Engineer / Full Stack Software Engineer - Health & Longevity Startup

The position is based in the company’s office in San Francisco. All of the company’s engineers work in the office 5 days/week, and it seeks candidates who will be excited about working in a fast-paced, hard-working, high-performance environment where teammates are together in person.

The company is building a new healthcare system that involves diagnostics, preventative healthcare, fitness/performance/health optimization, AI, and longevity. The company's ambition is to build the future of health.

The company has about 60 employees and 15 engineers. It has raised a very large round of series B funding and has already achieved a $1 billion valuation. Revenues are growing very rapidly, and the company is now moving towards hyper growth.

The company will pay a salary of $220k-$250k, plus equity which could be very lucrative.
