Job summary

HRB is hiring a Product Engineer to join the Perception team, building easy-to-use tools for AI systems. You will contribute to frontend components and robust backend systems, collaborating with stakeholders to turn ideas into production features that drive business impact.

You’ll work across frontend and backend, delivering reliable software, and helping customers succeed with better AI tooling in a fast-moving environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience as a full-stack engineer.
• Strong TypeScript, Node.js, and GraphQL skills.
• Experience with Python, Kubernetes, and Google Cloud tools (MySQL, Spanner, GCS, Pub/Sub).
• 2+ years of frontend experience with React/Redux.
• Proactive attitude and ownership mindset in a fast-paced, agile environment.
• Focus on writing clean, well-tested code and delivering on time.

Responsibilities

Role Overview

We’re looking for aProduct Engineerto join ourPerceptionteam, where you’ll help build easy-to-use and efficient tools that support the development of cutting-edge AI systems like those for generative AI and computer vision. You'll work on both the frontend and backend, creating UI components and reliable systems that help our customers train better AI models.

As a product-minded engineer, you'll work directly with stakeholders to bring ideas to life, build technical solutions from conception to production that drive business impact, and make sure our platform runs smoothly.You’ll innovate and push technological boundaries in order to meet the rapidly evolving needs of our customers, helping them create AI models that can work with multi-modal data.

Your Impact

• Support AI developmentby building interactive and reliable tools that help train AI models using various types of data, including text, images, audio, and video.
• Build new featuresby working with a cross-functional team to create, test, and improve the tools our customers use every day.
• Solve technical challengesby thinking through complex and ambiguous problems and coming up with practical, effective solutions.
• Help customers succeedby assisting our support team in resolving issues and improving the overall user experience.
• Keep systems running smoothlyby participating in on‑call rotations to monitor and fix any issues that arise.

What You Bring

• 2+ years of experienceas a full-stack engineer, working on both frontend user interfaces and backend systems.
• Strong skills inTypeScript, Node.js, and GraphQL, and familiarity withPython, Kubernetes, and Google Cloudtools like MySQL, Spanner, GCS, and PubSub.
• 2+ years of experienceusing frontend frameworks likeReact/Redux, and the ability to turn designs into interactive, responsive web pages.
• Aproactive attitude, taking ownership of your work and looking for ways to make the product and team better.
• Comfort working in afast‑paced, agile environment, where priorities can shift, and quick problem‑solving is key.
