Job summary

DRiV is seeking a Product Engineer in Skokie, IL to design and release components for the Sealing and Engine department. You will work with product line managers, support with engineering tasks, and interact with manufacturing and quality teams.

The role requires an engineering degree (BSME preferred) and 0–2 years of experience. Collaboration with suppliers and cross-functional teams is essential to ensure manufacturability and product success.

Qualifications

• 0–2 years of experience in product engineering.
• Knowledge of part design and validation processes.
• Ability to work with suppliers and manufacturing facilities.
• Understanding PPAP and basic project management.
• Prepare sample approvals and test reports.

Responsibilities

• Design and release components as identified by product line managers.
• Engage in engineering tasks, application engineering and cross-functional support.
• Interface with internal and external manufacturing engineering and quality teams.
• Support customer and supplier interface and project timing.
• Assist in DVP&R activities as assigned by senior staff.
• Create and review component drawings with proper tolerances.
• Develop manufacturability considerations with facilities.
• Utilize engineering software and improve design methods.
• Contribute to project management and reporting using MS Office.
