Flow, a technology-driven real estate company, seeks a software engineer to grow AI-powered products for operators and neighbors. You’ll work across backend, frontend, data, and infrastructure, translating real-world friction into elegant software and workflows.

You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to ship impactful solutions in buildings and communities. You’ll bring at least three years of software engineering experience, a generalist mindset, and a passion for AI-native development.

Qualifications

• Three years of software engineering experience building products, platforms, or internal tools.
• Willingness to move across backend, frontend, data, or infra as needed.
• Proven ability to learn quickly and expand into unfamiliar areas.
• Builder mindset focused on end-user needs and product outcomes.
• Hands-on AI fluency: familiarity with AI tooling and evaluating outputs.
• Experience partnering with business stakeholders to solve real workflow problems.
• Proficient in shell scripting, Python, Go, and TypeScript.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain software, workflows, and AI-powered products for operators and neighbors.
• Collaborate with operations, marketing, leasing, and other teams to identify pain points and deliver scalable solutions.
• Move across the stack as needed to ship complete solutions, not just one layer.
• Lead experiments to validate ideas, measure impact, and iterate toward value.
• Embed with business functions to understand goals and implement forward-looking plans.
• Own problems end-to-end from discovery to rollout and adoption.
• Document design decisions and tradeoffs for technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Use AI coding assistants to accelerate development while maintaining quality.
