Job summary

Qualifications

• BS or MS in mechanical or manufacturing engineering required.
• Experience with multi-part mechanisms and assemblies.
• Experience with space vehicle mechanisms and aerospace processes.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain manufacturing documentation (structures, routings, process specs, tooling).
• Solve manufacturing problems and implement corrective actions.
• Coordinate with departments to ensure production viability of new designs.
• Interface with operators, quality inspectors, and supervisors.
• Implement Lean practices and standard work.
• Develop automated test fixtures and assembly tools.
• Create manufacturing cell layouts and PFMEA.
• Track milestones and ensure task completion for production programs.
• Create tool assemblies and drawings and enter data into tool setter DB.
• Develop PQPR for machining part families.
