ABEC Inc. is seeking a Product Engineer to design and develop bioreactor systems used in cell and gene therapy manufacturing.

The role involves taking ideas from concept through testing and launch while collaborating with laboratory, automation, electrical, and mechanical teams. The position focuses on developing features for control systems, translating customer needs into requirements, and supporting testing and launches in a cross-functional environment.

Formación

• BS in Mechanical, Chemical, Biological, or a related Engineering field.
• Experience in a related engineering industry is preferred.
• Hands-on problem solving and collaboration in cross-functional teams.

Responsabilidades

• Develop new features and components for bioreactor control systems.
• Translate customer and process needs into system requirements.
• Support bench testing, troubleshooting, FAT and SAT.
• Partner across engineering, operations, sales, and marketing.

What we’re looking for:

• BS in Mechanical, Chemical, Biological, or a related Engineering field
• Engineering experience in a related industry preferred
• Exposure to automation/control systems and bioprocessing is a strong plus
• A collaborative, hands‑on engineer who enjoys solving real technical problems
