Job summary

Esri is seeking a data science and machine learning focused software engineer to contribute samples using ArcGIS and open-source tools, and to uphold high QA standards through testing and CI processes.

You will collaborate with product and design teams on the ArcGIS API for Python, plan notebooks, and contribute to ArcGIS Notebooks across enterprise, online, and desktop products.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience in the job offered, or 1 year in a related occupation.
• Demonstrated experience in ArcGIS Software and geospatial analytics.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer science, Engineering, GIS, or related field.

• Participate in design, planning, development, and documentation of the ArcGIS API for Python by working closely with correspondent teams
• Plan, author, review, and maintain data science and administrative notebooks for ArcGIS Notebooks gallery
• Participate in design and development of ArcGIS Notebooks by working closely with enterprise, online and desktop product teams

Requirements

• One (1) year of experience in the job offered, or one (1) year of experience in a related occupation
• Demonstrated experience in ArcGIS Software, and geospatial analytics
• Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent degree, in Computer science, Engineering, GIS, or a related field
