Job summary

ovt is seeking a Product Engineer to own assigned products, contribute DFM inputs, and lead the introduction and ramp‑up of image sensor and ASIC devices. The role focuses on yield analysis, data‑driven corrective actions, and complete product characterization for datasheet finalization.

You will collaborate with testing teams to develop, verify, and release testing programs, ensuring robust product performance and readiness for production.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Own assigned products and manage lifecycle across development and production.
• Define and refine product requirements with engineering and design teams.
• Lead ramp-up initiatives for image sensors and ASIC components.
• Monitor yield metrics and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Coordinate testing programs with CP/FT teams to ensure release readiness.

• Co-work with testing engineers to develop, verify and release testing program at CP or FT.

Preferred-

• Some Product Engineering experience in image sensor or memory (flash, SRAM, DRAM) or ASIC products.
• Familiarity with silicon process will be plus.
• Good communication and organizational skills
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
• Master's Degree in EE or Physics, or a related field.
• Fluency in Mandarin (both spoken and written) is strongly preferred

Annual base salary for this role in California, US is expected to be between $90,600 - $120,000. Actual pay will be determined on a number of factors such as relevant skills and experience, and the pay of employees in the similar role.
