Job description

About the Role

This is a full-stack product engineering role at the heart of how a premier startup accelerator operates - spanning the admissions pipeline, events platform, and internal tooling. Engineers here own the full product experience end-to-end, from problem definition and UI design to deployment, with no traditional PMs or designers in the loop.

What You'll Do
  • Design, build, and ship full-stack applications powering admissions pipelines, events platforms, and internal tools.

  • Develop and extend an events platform (large-scale demo days, meetups, recruiting events, office hours, and investor events), including registration, coordination, and media handling.

  • Integrate with external systems such as Google Calendar, Slack, and email to coordinate internal teams and external stakeholders.

  • Build AI and semantic search systems using embeddings and natural language queries across large datasets.

  • Automate admissions workflows including scheduling, notifications, status tracking, email triage, and deadline management.

  • Develop LLM-powered internal copilots for email classification, workflow automation, and natural language interfaces.

  • Create dashboards and analytics to track pipeline health and operational metrics.

  • Work directly with partners and operations teams to understand workflows and continuously improve systems.

What We're Looking For
  • Proven track record of shipping full-stack products end-to-end - owning problem definition, UI/UX design, and deployment, not just implementing specs.

  • Active experience building with AI/LLMs, with shipped projects or production AI features to demonstrate.

  • Proficiency with a modern full-stack: Rails, React, PostgreSQL, and Python.

  • Experience designing and shipping AI/semantic search features (embeddings, NLP) across large datasets.

  • Experience integrating with external APIs and systems (e.g., Google Calendar, Slack, email, data pipelines).

  • Strong product sense with the ability to own UI/UX and the overall product experience.

  • Background in startups or early-stage environments (seed through Series B; large-company experience is a plus when paired with founding or startup experience.

  • Experience building internal tools, workflow systems, or business software (CRMs, admissions tools, etc.) is a strong plus.

  • Strong CS fundamentals, demonstrated through a rigorous degree or exceptional shipped work.

  • Former founder or early technical leader background is a bonus.
