Job summary

Sooth Labs is seeking an exceptional product engineer to build the user-facing layer of our foresight platform. This role sits at the intersection of frontend systems, interaction design, and AI-driven decision tools, shaping novel ways for users to interact with probabilistic forecasts, timelines, scenarios, and evolving world models.

You will work closely with the founders to define and implement the primary interface through which users explore forecasts, interrogate uncertainty, and reason

Job description

We’re hiring an exceptional product engineer to build the user-facing layer of Sooth’s foresight platform. This role sits at the intersection of frontend systems, interaction design, and AI-driven decision tools. The core challenge is designing entirely new ways for users to interact with probabilistic forecasts, timelines, scenarios, and evolving world models. This is not conventional SaaS application development.

You will work directly with the founders and research team to define and build the the primary interface through which users explore forecasts, interrogate uncertainty, and reason about future outcomes. This role requires someone who can architect and implement complex product features and experiences. Someone who can rapidly iterate and exercise strong product and design judgment, even when requirements are not fully specified.

We are looking for engineers who:

• Build exceptional user-facing systems with speed and taste
• Have deep frontend expertise (React/TypeScript or equivalent), with strong full-stack capability
• Can translate complex technical systems into intuitive product experiences
• Thrive in environments where the product and interaction model are still being invented
• Care deeply about clarity, information density, performance, and interaction quality

We are specifically looking for candidates with a demonstrated track record of building outstanding technical products in high-ambiguity environments. Strong candidates will typically have been early or core product engineers at elite startups or leading technology companies, particularly in AI-native, developer, analytical, trading, or data-intensive products. We value evidence of exceptional engineering velocity, strong product intuition, and prior ownership of highly regarded user-facing systems.

Especially strong candidates may have experience building:

• ML-native or AI-native products
• Analytical, trading, or data-dense interfaces
• Developer tools or technical platforms
• Systems involving uncertainty, simulation, or real-time information flows

This is a high-ownership role with direct influence over the product direction and user experience of the company. We are not looking for someone to implement tickets; we are looking for someone capable of helping define the product itself.
