Job summary

Axle is seeking talented engineers to join our early team as Product Engineers who will help build a platform that enables safe inference on complex financial data and deploy agents for mission-critical decisioning. You’ll wear many hats and shape the future of our platform.

We’re tackling challenging problems in insurance data extraction, validation, and verification, with a lean team in NYC and Atlanta, working in-person 4 days a week.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience (or equivalent) building complex systems in production environments.
• Ability to take abstract projects end-to-end, operating with high agency.
• Experience in fintech or data aggregation high-growth startups is a plus.

As a Product Engineer, you’ll help build the platform that makes this possible. From applying safe inference to complex financial data to using agents for mission-critical decisioning, you’ll have the chance to wear a lot of hats and shape the future of our platform.

We’re looking for individuals who think creatively about problems, push for real-world customer impact, and are excited about helping financial data reach full connectivity. We're powering mission-critical insurance data extraction, validation, and verification at companies where if we get things wrong, there are real world impacts (e.g., denied lending applications, modified compliance statuses, etc.).

Here’s a few of the complex problems you’ll be working on:

• Building industry-first evals for insurance data extractors and transformers
• Integrating context and understanding to standardize high-variability data points
• Understanding data management and hierarchy across overlapping data ingestors
• Orchestrating self-healing agents that automatically gets better over time
