Job summary

• Ability to recognize critical characteristics and meet specifications.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, quote, and release products for On-Highway, Off-Highway, and Distribution markets.
• Create CAD models, drawings, BOMs, part numbers, and customer quotations.
• Coordinate product launches, prototype builds, customer trials, and production releases.
• Collaborate with customers to identify opportunities and resolve technical issues.
• Support engineering changes, product improvements, testing, and failure analysis.
• Prepare technical documentation including FMEA/FMECA, DVP&R, DRBFM, load/stress analyses, and qualification reports.
• Lead or participate in customer and cross-functional project meetings and design reviews.
• Provide technical support to Sales, Manufacturing, Quality, Purchasing, and other departments.
• Follow all company 6S and Safety Guidelines.

• Create CAD models, drawings, BOMs, part numbers, and customer quotations.

• Work directly with customers to identify opportunities and resolve technical issues.
• Support engineering changes, product improvements, testing, and failure analysis.
• Prepare technical documentation including FMEA/FMECA, DVP&R, DRBFM, load/stress analysis, and qualification reports.
• Lead or participate in customer and cross-functional project meetings and design reviews.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Engineering Technology, or equivalent experience.
• 2-5 years of related experience, preferably in commercial equipment or vehicle applications.
• CAD and engineering drawing experience.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and project management skills.
• Customer-focused, self-motivated, and able to manage multiple priorities.
• Ability to recognize critical characteristics and work to approved product specifications.

Work Requirements

• Approximately 70% sitting/computer work.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform occasional bending/stooping.
• Approximately 25% travel by car and air.
• Climate-controlled work environment.
