Job summary

KPIT is actively seeking a senior Product Owner to lead telematics and digital integration initiatives. You will be the bridge between onboard and offboard telematics, engineering, IT, and business stakeholders, translating needs into epics and stories.

You will coordinate with global engineering teams, drive backlog priorities, and guide roadmap and release planning to ensure timely delivery and clear decisions across the program.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of hands-on experience as a Product Owner, Product Manager, or equivalent.
  • Strong ability to communicate with engineering, IT, digital, and business stakeholders at different levels.
  • Working knowledge of onboard and offboard telematics ecosystems, connected vehicle platforms, or mobility digital services.
  • Experience in Agile delivery environments, including backlog management, sprint ceremonies, and release planning.
  • Ability to convert business needs into clear requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and prioritized backlogs.
  • Experience in automotive, commercial vehicles, connected vehicle, software-defined vehicle, or digital engineering programs.
  • Experience coordinating with global engineering teams and distributed stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the Product Owner for J0b Program initiatives involving telematics and digital integration.
  • Serve as the primary communication bridge between onboard telematics, offboard telematics, engineering, IT, and digital business requirement stakeholders.
  • Engage with engineering teams from client to clarify program needs, technical expectations, dependencies, and delivery priorities.
  • Gather, document, refine, and prioritize business and technical requirements in a clear and actionable manner.
  • Translate stakeholder needs into epics, features, user stories, acceptance criteria, and backlog priorities.
  • Facilitate requirement review meetings, backlog grooming, sprint planning inputs, product demos, and stakeholder alignment sessions.
  • Coordinate with IT and digital business requirement teams to ensure product decisions reflect business process and platform needs.
  • Track risks, open questions, dependencies, decisions, and action items across multiple stakeholder groups.
  • Maintain strong communication with customer stakeholders and provide timely status updates on progress, blockers, and decisions required.
  • Support roadmap planning, release planning, prioritization, and milestone readiness for the Job Program.
  • Drive alignment across global teams and help resolve ambiguity before it impacts delivery timelines.

Requirements
