This position focuses on Light Commercial HVAC equipment projects, including:

• Estimating Support: Provide technical support for bidding by developing cost estimates for HVAC equipment to support sales and client needs.
• Sales Support: Assist the light commercial team, Sales Engineers, and Territory Managers during project acquisition and fulfillment, offering technical expertise and support.

The role requires strong communication, problem-solving, and time management skills, along with attention to detail and the ability to work under deadlines.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

• Estimate costs for Light Commercial HVAC equipment, focusing on Daikin and Lennox products.
• Review specifications and design to select and price replacement HVAC equipment.
• Prepare proposals, pricing breakdowns, and assemble bid files in CRM systems.
• Develop relationships with manufacturers, vendors, and customers to gather relevant information.
• Support sales teams with technical and project support throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction, or related field.
• Up to 2+ years of HVAC estimating or related experience.
• Knowledge of Light Commercial HVAC systems and plan/document review preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, and basic PC skills.
• Excellent math, communication, teamwork, and follow-up skills.

Physical Demands & Work Environment

Requires sitting, handling, reaching, talking, standing, walking, and lifting up to 25 pounds. The environment is typically quiet, with reasonable accommodations available.
