Job summary

ABB is seeking a Mechanical/Electrical Engineer to provide technical support across engineering disciplines. You will manage engineering changes, cost analyses, and BOM/Routings while collaborating with suppliers and internal teams.

The role requires strong communication in English and experience with CAD tools. You will participate in cost reduction initiatives, localization efforts, and MES-aligned agile activities, supporting product validation and capex budgeting.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering required.
  • Fluency in English required.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing technologies, equipment and tools is a plus.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential.

Responsibilities

  • Engineering change development and EC backlog management.
  • Product cost analysis and monitoring.
  • POD activities and cost reduction support during implementation.
  • Small project management.
  • External process management and supplier support for EC implementation.
  • MM/BOM/Routings handling.
  • Capex management including budgeting.
  • Support for localization activities.
  • Product validation support.
  • Agile team integration and Manufacturing Execution Meetings.
