Endeavor in Austin seeks a product-minded full-stack engineer to own meaningful parts of the platform from inception to production. You’ll work across Next.js, React, Rails, PostgreSQL, and AWS, shipping features end-to-end and shaping user experiences for healthcare financing workflows.

The team is small and high-output, with heavy AI-assisted development and close collaboration with leadership and customers. Ambition, ownership, and a bias for practical, reliable software are key.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong full-stack web development experience.
• Experience with React, Next.js, or similar frontend frameworks.
• Experience building backend applications and APIs; Rails a plus.
• Strong fundamentals in relational databases and SQL.
• Track record of ownership and shipping production software.
• Ability to turn ambiguous problems into simple solutions.
• Comfort in a startup environment with evolving priorities.

Responsibilities

• Own product problems end-to-end.
• Build and ship features across frontend, backend, APIs, and databases.
• Turn complex healthcare/fintech workflows into simple products.
• Design APIs, data models, integrations, and internal systems.
• Work with users and teams to understand problems and iterate.
• Integrate with lenders, banks, payments, and external platforms.
• Leverage AI tools to prototype, build, test, and ship faster.
• Balance speed, simplicity, reliability, and long-term architecture.
• Own production quality and continuously improve the platform.
• Take increasing ownership as the company grows.
