Product Director, Holistic Page Optimization

What You'll Do

As the Product Director for Holistic Page Optimization (HPO), you will lead the development of a new strategic capability within Criteo's Retail Media business. You will own the vision, definition, and delivery of page-level optimization solutions to enhance how retailers structure, rank, and blend content across their on-site search and browsing experiences, aiming to maximize engagement, conversion, and revenue.

You will build this function from scratch by collaborating with Strategy, R&D, and Commercial teams to define the opportunity, design the product roadmap, and oversee the full product development lifecycle from initial market fit analysis to launch and scaling.

This role suits a product leader experienced in holistic page optimization or related fields such as content optimization, dynamic page assembly, search result curation, or ad/organic blending optimization—preferably within retail, marketplaces, search engines, or social networks.

Responsibilities
  1. Define and Own the HPO Vision: Establish the product vision and strategy for Criteo's holistic page optimization solutions.
  2. Lead End-to-End Product Development: Manage the PDLC from opportunity identification to launch and iteration.
  3. Partner Cross-Functionally: Collaborate with Strategy, R&D, Commercial, and Retailer Success teams.
  4. Shape and Validate Market Opportunities: Conduct research to size the market, define customer needs, and ensure product-market fit.
  5. Drive Innovation: Guide experimentation and testing, leveraging machine learning and AI.
  6. Champion the Retailer and End-User: Ensure solutions create compelling, user-centered experiences that deliver measurable business impact.
Who You Are
  • Degree in a technical field or Business, with relevant experience.
  • 8+ years in product management, with ownership of complex platform, search, ad delivery, or optimization solutions.
  • Experience in HPO or related fields such as search result blending, dynamic content assembly, auction models, or content ranking strategies.
  • Background in retail, search, social networks, AdTech, or content integration preferred.
  • Strong strategic, data-driven, and technical skills, familiar with machine learning and experimentation frameworks.
  • Entrepreneurial, self-driven, and capable of owning high-visibility projects.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
