Job summary

Motivo Engineering is seeking a Product Director to lead a portfolio of complex engineering and product development programs. You will manage a team of direct-report Project and Product Managers to deliver client-ready solutions and drive sustained growth.

As a member of the leadership team, you will champion continuous improvement of people, processes, and tools. The role requires navigating ambiguity, translating big-picture vision into concrete plans, and expanding Motivo’s external footprint

Qualifications

• 8+ years of progressive leadership in engineering, design, NPI, or product development.
• Proven history managing senior stakeholder relationships and delivering excellent CX.
• Success building and mentoring high‑performing teams and shaping culture.
• Ability to formalize and scale operating systems, processes, and cross‑functional governance frameworks.
• Experience negotiating major follow‑on contracts and managing scope creep for profitability.
• Strong written and verbal skills bridging technical teams, management, and clients.
• Willingness to travel domestically up to 20% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Lead a portfolio of complex engineering and product development programs.
• Manage a team of 3–6 project and product managers; allocate resources and assignments.
• Define staffing needs, performance expectations, and development plans.
• Identify core PM processes and tools; drive continuous operational improvement.
• Cultivate client partnerships and onboard new clients with BD to close follow‑on contracts.
• Oversee planning, execution, and governance of projects and roadmaps.
