Kane Partners LLC is partnering with an industry-leading specialty materials manufacturer to recruit a Product Development Systems Engineer in Philadelphia. You will drive new elastomer and polymer formulations from concept to candidate products, working closely with global R&D teams and customers.

You'll design testing programs linking material properties to real-world performance, collaborate with manufacturing to scale from lab to production, and present findings to diverse stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Polymer Science, Chemistry or related discipline.
• 8+ years of experience developing elastomers, fluoropolymers, specialty polymers, or advanced materials.
• Hands-on formulation and processing experience.
• Strong troubleshooting and experimental design capabilities.
• Experience translating lab data into practical engineering solutions.
• Comfortable interacting with customers, technical teams and manufacturing operations.

We're partnering with an industry-leading specialty materials manufacturer looking for a Product Development Systems Engineer to help drive innovation in advanced elastomers and high-performance polymers used in some of the world's most demanding applications.

This is not a maintenance engineering role. This is a chance to develop new technology, influence product strategy, collaborate with global R&D teams, and help customers solve challenging engineering problems.

What You'll Do

• Design and develop next-generation elastomer and polymer formulations

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Polymer Science, Chemistry, or related discipline

• Strong troubleshooting and experimental design capabilities

• FFKM, FKM, PTFE, fluoropolymer, silicone, or specialty elastomer experience
