Job summary

A beverage industry leader is looking for a Product Development/Food Lab Technician based in Atlanta, GA. This junior role involves making beverages, testing them, and documenting the results while supporting product developers. Key responsibilities include conducting analyses, coordinating sample shipments, and maintaining lab instruments. Ideal candidates have a background in Food Science or Chemistry, along with strong communication skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks. This is an onsite position lasting 9-12 months with possible extension.

Qualifications

JOB DESCRIPTION:

A junior food scientist or lab technician who can make beverages, test them, document results, and support product developers efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support product sampling, tastings, and evaluations
• Conduct analysis (pH, Brix, acidity, etc.) on beverages
• Coordinate sample shipments and lab-scale trials
• Work with beverage processing & dispensing equipment
• Maintain lab instruments and ensure accurate records

Requirements:

• Background in Food Science, Chemistry, or related field
• 1–3 years of relevant experience preferred
• Knowledge of beverage technology, food chemistry & processing
• Strong communication and project coordination skills
