Job summary

Arhaus is seeking a Product Development Designer to help establish seasonal direction and develop holistic category products for the Arhaus assortment. You will collaborate with Product Development, VP of Product Development, merchandising, and planning to align goals and expand the assortment while ensuring timely product launches on the website.

Qualifications

Four-year college degree in design, merchandising or related field.
3+ years design/product development/merchandising experience in retail setting.
Excel, Word, Outlook proficiency and ability to learn new systems.
Excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills.
Ability to think strategically with strong decision-making skills.
Ability to multitask effectively in a high-energy environment.
Previous experience in a retail space.
Passion for Interior Design and Product.
Travel willingness.

Responsibilities

Work closely with Product Developer and VP of Product Development to establish seasonal direction.
Develop holistic category products seasonally with merchandising and planning teams.
Identify opportunities to expand the assortment and increase sales penetration.
Coordinate product distribution with Buying Department.
Collaborate with web team to ensure timely product launches online.
Maintain vendor relationships to achieve goals.
Specify product packaging with Sourcing & QC and ensure compliance.
Resolve quality concerns with Sourcing and QC teams.
Prepare product data and input SKU information into the Product Information database.
Manage assortment plan seasonally from start to finish.
