Job summary

Retrofête Inc. in New York seeks a detail-oriented Product Development Assistant to support development and production workflows.

You will manage material/hardware libraries, ensure fabric and trim quality, and collaborate across design, tech design, and production teams to streamline processes. The role requires strong organizational skills, excellent communication, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is required.
• Experience in product development or production coordination preferred.
• Fabric or related experience is a plus, with strong organization and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in a fast-paced team.

Responsibilities

• Participate in new style review meetings and determine packaging needs.
• Maintain color library and BOM; track inventories of hardware and trims.
• Track invoices and product costing in relevant systems.
• Distribute samples to proper channels; assist with material approvals.
• Facilitate day-to-day vendor communications; data entry in Excel.
• Collaborate with design, tech design, and production teams to streamline processes.
