This assignment is intended to be 6 months in duration. In this role you'll support the product development engineering designing and optimizing new products and processes for the manufacturing of Chemical Mechanical Planarization pads. **What You’ll Do:*** Work to support the process development and commercialization of new products* Lead continuous improvement project to drive process efficiency and reduce product variation* Work closely with various business functions to support the manufacturing processes and resolve customer product quality inquiries**What We Seek:*** Experience working in a lab (employment or school) and knowledge of safe lab practices is preferred* Ability to write technical reports and present data in a clear and concise manner* Strong problem solving and analysis skills* This role is 100% on-site in Hillsboro, OR; M-F standard office hours**Desired Major(s) & Graduation Year:** Rising junior or senior working towards a Bachelor of Science in a STEM field **Eligibility:*** Must be a currently enrolled student* Available to work 40 hours a week, M-F (8a-5p) beginning in January through June* Must be familiar with the university’s requirements to participate in a co-op program* Entegris is not currently hiring candidates for co-ops/internships who will need, now or at any time in the future, Entegris sponsorship through the H1-B lottery.**PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:** This position will require the ability to work on a factory floor up to 8hrs per day operating machinery and testing equipment. **WHY WORK AT ENTEGRIS?** Lead.
