Job Description/Qualifications

As the Lead System Integration Engineer, you will lead the Integration Support team in system testing for our customer facilities across the United States. You will maximize theoretical and experimental system engineering knowledge and architecture to support new and existing multidisciplinary products based on customer needs and marketing requirements.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Work closely with diverse disciplines, including algorithm, mechanical, optics, electronics, and software in the development and testing of systems design improvements, spec validation, and implementation of solutions.
  • Support internal adoption/usage of the wafer and reticle handlers produced by KLA on various inspection and metrology equipment products.
  • Write technical reports to communicate issues, analysis, technical assessments, system status, best-known methods, and engineering recommendations.
  • Interface closely with service, manufacturing, engineering, and marketing teams to define and optimize system performance and resolve performance issues.
  • Hands-on troubleshooting and maintenance of engineering prototype systems in division headquarters.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge in semiconductor manufacturing, wafer handling systems, and servo control systems.
  • Experience with yield and process control instrument systems for the semiconductor industry.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Master's degree and 3+ years of experience, or Bachelor's degree and 7+ years of experience.
  • Knowledge of data analysis tools such as JMP, Matlab, Python, Microsoft Excel.

Base Pay Range: $114,100.00 - $194,000.00

Primary Location: USA-CA-Milpitas
