Job summary

Olin is seeking a New Product Development Engineer to drive the entire development process from ideation through production at our Oxford, MS site. You will manage cross‑category NPD projects, conduct aerodynamic and testing work, and help design manufacturing tools and processes, ensuring product readiness and quality.

Qualifications include a B.S. in a core engineering discipline, 3.0+ GPA for recent grads, and experience in a manufacturing setting with project management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical, Metallurgical, Materials Science, or Aerospace Engineering.
• GPA 3.0+ on a 4.0 scale for recent grads (documentation required).
• Engineering/co-op/intern experience in a manufacturing environment; product development experience preferred.
• Project management experience with ability to manage multiple projects.
• Experience with 3D CAD modeling; Autodesk Inventor preferred.
• Ability to travel up to 5%.

Responsibilities

• Act as project manager of new product development programs across consumer, law enforcement, industrial, and military categories.
• Perform aerodynamic analysis, ballistic testing, photography, tool design, equipment design, process definition, and quality documentation.
• Troubleshoot new product constraints as they arise in manufacturing.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives for innovation, lean practices, and cost reductions.
• Keep abreast of competitive new product development and industry requirements.
• Assist Marketing with technical support for presentations, demonstrations, and new product discoveries.
