Job summary

TURBOCAM Inc. is seeking a Product Development Engineer to oversee and develop new products for customers. You will select materials, develop processes, and ensure quality plans meet customer specifications and volume demands.

You will work directly with engineers and technicians to translate design data into manufacturable parts, build CAD models, and participate in lean initiatives and educational programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering required.
• 2 years' experience in engineering or manufacturing environment preferred.
• 2 years' experience using CAD and CAM software preferred.
• Ability to read design prints and understand GD&T (ASME Y14.5M).
• Strong written, verbal, interpersonal and graphic presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and develop new products for TURBOCAM's customers.
• Receive and evaluate customer design information, drawings, and data.
• Verify data meets original design intent and communicate discrepancies.
• Develop manufacturing processes to produce and inspect quality parts.
• Create and update CAD models per customer drawings and design intent.
• Advise with engineers and technicians; support lean initiatives and kaizen events.
• Assist with training, machine layout, and project timeline estimates.
