Job summary

Nemco Food Equipment LTD in Phoenix, AZ, is seeking a Product Development Engineer to lead new product concepts from idea to commercialization, driving organic initiatives and coordinating across Production, Quality, Sales, and Service.

You will design, prototype, test, and validate systems, manage timelines and budgets, and ensure UL/ETL/ NSF standards compliance, with a full lifecycle from concept to market.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years in product development.
• Full product lifecycle experience.
• Experience with sheet metal, casting, injection molding.
• Strong communication and project management skills.
• Experience in the food service industry preferred.

Position Overview

We are seeking a Product Development Engineer to lead the development of new, organically generated product concepts from idea through commercialization. This role plays a key part in expanding Nemco’s product portfolio by identifying opportunities, developing innovative solutions, and bringing them to market efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of new products, from concept through production launch.
• Drive organic product initiatives aligned with market needs.

Work Hours: Mon-Fri 7am-4pm or 8am-5pm

• Mechanical/electrical systems understanding.
• SolidWorks proficiency.
