Job summary

Jobtailor seeks a senior PLM engineer to design, customize, and integrate 3DEXPERIENCE/ENOVIA solutions in a hybrid US role. You will lead data model customization, widget development, and automated testing while coordinating with engineering and IT teams.

Responsibilities include patching, upgrades, support incident handling, data migration, and building CI/CD pipelines. Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration are essential.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, CS, Mechanical, or related technical field
10+ years in PLM solution development with hands-on 3DEXPERIENCE/ENOVIA
Experience with data model customization and enterprise configuration
Proficiency in MQL, JPOs, and ENOVIA Web Services
Experience designing widgets and role-based interfaces using HTML5/JS/JSP
Knowledge of version control, check-in/out, and change management
Ability to build automated test scripts for CAD/PLM integrations
Experience with data migration and transformation
Experience with validation, reconciliation, and auditability
Experience administering licenses, analytics, and procurement coordination
L2/L3 support experience with SR/ER lifecycle and root-cause analysis
Agile, multi-site delivery, and cross-functional alignment
Domain exposure across automotive and aerospace
Strong demos, training, and user enablement skills
Onsite four+ days a week in hybrid arrangement
Authorized to work in the United States

Responsibilities

Design, develop, test, and deploy PLM customizations and integrations within 3DEXPERIENCE/ENOVIA
Customize ENOVIA data models, including types, policies, relationships, attributes, and lifecycles
Develop custom widgets and role-based user interfaces
Provide Level 2/3 technical support and manage SR/ER requests
Lead 3DX patching, upgrades, and impact analysis with testing and documentation
Monitor system health, performance, and security reviews
Implement CI/CD practices and automate builds, tests, and deployments
Develop Java interfaces and Web Services integrations
Create runbooks, documentation, and training materials
Perform high-volume data migration and reconciliation reporting
Design audit trails, exception handling, and recovery procedures
Develop AI/ML and Data Intelligence capabilities for BOM reconciliation and quality checks
Operate data pipelines with feature extraction and drift monitoring
Coordinate licenses and renewals; collaborate with stakeholders across functions

Job description

Design, develop, test, and deploy customizations and integrations within 3DEXPERIENCE/ENOVIA
Customize and optimize ENOVIA data models, including types, policies, relationships, attributes, and lifecycles
Develop custom widgets and role-based user interfaces
Provide end-to-end technical support with root-cause analysis and corrective actions
Lead 3DX patching and upgrades, including impact analysis, regression testing, cutover/rollback planning, environment validation, and documentation
Provide Level 2/3 technical support and manage Service Requests and Enhancement Requests with vendors
Monitor system health and performance and conduct security/access reviews
Extract platform-related reports according to business needs
Establish CI/CD practices and automate builds, tests, packaging, and deployments
Maintain promotion controls across development, test, and production environments
Develop Java interfaces and 3DEXPERIENCE Web Services integrations
Author service interactions and handlers with payload design, error handling, and traceability
Maintain technical documentation, sequence diagrams, and runbooks
Perform high-volume data migration and transformation using TCL scripts, Data Load utilities, and custom loaders
Validate data integrity and deliver reconciliation reports and dashboards
Implement audit trails, exception handling, and recovery procedures
Design and integrate AI/ML and Data Intelligence capabilities for BOM reconciliation, classification, anomaly detection, and predictive quality checks

Partner with engineering, manufacturing, quality, suppliers, and IT/security stakeholders on scalable 3DX solutions

Facilitate requirements walkthroughs, solution proposals, acceptance criteria, SLAs, and operational readiness

Requirements

Bachelor of Science (or foreign equivalent) in Engineering, Computer Science, Mechanical, or a related technical field
Minimum 10+ years in PLM solution development with hands-on 3DEXPERIENCE/ENOVIA
Experience with data model customization, performance tuning, and enterprise configuration
Proficiency in MQL, JPOs, and 3DEXPERIENCE Web Services
Experience designing and delivering custom widgets and role-based interfaces using HTML5, JavaScript, and JSP
Understanding of product check-in/check-out, version control, data release, and change management
Ability to build automated test scripts and frameworks for CAD/PLM integrations
Experience with data migration and transformation using MQL scripts, Data Load utilities, and custom loaders
Experience with validation, reconciliation, exception handling, and auditability
Experience administering user and role-based licenses, usage analytics, compliance controls, and procurement/renewal coordination
