Duration: 12 Months (Possible Extension)
Key responsibilities include:
- Develop detailed engine test plans, schedule dyno testing activities, and coordinate with test operators to ensure effective execution.
- Analyze and interpret test data, present findings, and facilitate technical discussions with cross-functional teams.
- Calibrate base engine software functions and contribute to the development and validation of new software features.
- Provide technical support and guidance to teams involved in field performance, calibration, applications engineering, and related functions.
- Support the development and validation of engine and aftertreatment hardware systems.
Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative engineering environment.

- Proven engineering problem-solving and analytical capabilities.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in engine development, engine controls development, or engine component/subsystem development.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Agricultural Engineering, Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.
Preferred Qualifications, Skills & Experience
- 2-3 years of experience in performance and emissions development of heavy-duty diesel engines, including the use of controller development tools.
- Experience applying Design of Experiments (DOE), modeling techniques, and optimization methodologies.
- Hands-on experience with engineering and simulation tools such as GT-Power, NI DIAdem, MATLAB, Simulink, MBC, and CAGE.
- Knowledge of diesel aftertreatment systems and components.
- Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Agricultural Engineering, Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
