Alto Products Corp, located in Atmore, Alabama, is seeking a Product Engineer to lead engineering projects and manage the product lifecycle from conception through launch.
The role involves team development, project management, and collaborating with customers and suppliers. Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, 3-5 years of experience in product engineering, and proficiency in 3D CAD tools like Siemens NX or SolidWorks.

Responsibilities -
Lead and develop a small team of direct reports—assign priorities, remove roadblocks, and coach day-to-day execution to deliver new products and improvements on schedule.
Serve as the resident expert on internal manufacturing process capabilities to ensure designs are practical and production-ready.
Lead engineering projects that support the broader product portfolio and business strategy—owning scope, timing, risk, and technical outcomes.
Create, read, and interpret engineering drawings to drive clear specifications and effective design intent.
Manage the product lifecycle including design, prototyping, testing, and PPAP—driving disciplined execution and strong technical documentation.
Represent Product Engineering in cross-functional problem solving and continuous improvement to improve quality, cost, and speed-to-market.
Support customers, suppliers, and internal teams with technical information—serving as the engineering point of contact for product/process quality concerns and maintaining regular supplier communication.
Qualifications -
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (preferred) or related field.
3-5 years experience in Product Engineering.
Previous management or supervisory experience preferred.
Technical knowledge of automotive components.
Proficiency with 3D CAD tools—preferably Siemens NX or SolidWorks.
Experience managing product lifecycle from concept through launch.
Strong communication, project management, and collaboration skills with the ability to manage workload in a team environment.
