Job summary

Meijer Inc. is seeking a talented fashion designer or product developer to assist the Product Development and Design team with silhouette, graphic and artwork trends, and seasonal print development.

You will review lab dips, artwork strike-offs, prepare PLM packages, sketch designs in Illustrator, and communicate construction details to cross-functional partners. Bachelor’s degree in Fashion or Art and 1–7 years of experience expected; proficiency in Illustrator and Photoshop required;

• Keen eye for color, trend, detail and construction.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Able to multi-task and prioritize based on business objectives.
• Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
• Basic knowledge of Design, Apparel Construction and Textiles.
• Ability to understand and analyze Market/Trend information.

Responsibilities

• Assist Product Development and Design team in research and design for silhouette, graphic and artwork trends.

• Participate in sample reviews and fit sessions.
• Assist in any related communication to cross-functional partners.

What You’ll Be Doing:

What You Bring With You (Qualifications):
