Job summary

Amazon.com Services LLC is seeking a highly skilled Product Designer for Prime Video Playback to craft innovative video playback experiences across living room, mobile, and web surfaces. You will lead end-to-end design efforts, collaborating with researchers, PMs, engineers, and leadership to translate vision into execution.

You will shape information architecture, UI interactions, motion, and prototyping, ensuring accessibility and inclusive customer solutions while balancing monetization

Qualifications

• 5+ years of design experience.
• 3+ years of delivering design solutions as a UX designer or interaction designer experience.
• Have an available online portfolio
• Experience in designing for both mobile and desktop applications.
• Experience presenting ideas to various levels of an organization to gain support for initiatives
• Strong prototyping skills with the ability to create high-fidelity interactive prototypes that communicate design intent beyond static deliverables (using tools such as Figma prototyping, Claude Code, Kiro, Rive, or equivalent)

Responsibilities

• Creating end-to-end design solutions for the Prime Video Playback and Ads design team, based on collaboration with our business and tech partners, and based on customer research and performance metrics.
• Analyze user interface problems to create on-brand design solutions that meet measurable business goals and requirements and work closely with the business team to develop use cases and high-level CX requirements.
• Work closely with our Design Systems group and A11y partners to create accessible designs, with consideration for WCAG guidelines, screen readers and multiple input methods.
• Push the forefront of new AI tools and usage, and new ways to work in a fast paced environment, redefining design best practices.
• Consistently advocate for customer needs while balancing advertiser considerations and monetization potential.
• Create user flows, wireframes, visual designs and prototypes as needed to effectively conceptualize and communicate detailed interaction behaviors and to effectively communicate design solutions to PV leadership.
• Determine areas for research and testing and work closely with our research partners to execute against these needs.
