Job summary

Matter is seeking a Product Designer in San Francisco to translate high-dimensional sensing data into clear, actionable interfaces for customers. You will shape workflows, interfaces, prototypes, and design systems in collaboration with the Product Intelligence team and domain experts.

You will lead user research, create intuitive information architectures, and partner with product and engineering to deliver polished experiences across the product surface. Onsite at SF location.

Qualifications

• Experience designing data-rich software products or complex workflows.
• Strong interaction, interface, information-architecture, prototyping, and visual-design skills.
• Ability to turn ambiguous customer problems into testable concepts.
• Clear communication and collaboration with product, engineering, and customers.

Responsibilities

• Lead user research and workflow discovery with customers and teams.
• Translate data and capabilities into clear information architecture and interfaces.
• Create prototypes and test concepts early to guide decisions.
