Job summary

SafetyWing, a fully remote insuretech, is seeking a Product Designer to shape our user experiences across insurance and finance domains. You will lead design initiatives from concept to delivery, collaborate with product managers, engineers, and other designers, and contribute to a scalable design system.

You bring a strong portfolio, experience with usability testing, and proficiency in Figma. You’ll think beyond screens, help define product strategy, and communicate design ideas clearly to

Qualifications

• Advanced product design experience demonstrated through a portfolio of impactful design solutions.
• Experience designing user experiences within insurance, finance or other regulated sectors.
• Design beyond the screen, considering user flows and product architecture.
• Proficient in Figma and committed to learning new features.
• Experience conducting usability testing.
• Clear communication of design ideas to diverse stakeholders.
• Ability to align design work with broader business and product strategy.

Responsibilities

• Lead product design initiatives from conception to final execution.
• Drive improvements in design processes and contribute to design quality.
• Ensure design output consistency with product managers, designers and engineers.
• Drive evolution and adherence to SafetyWing's design system.
• Present design ideas to cross-functional teams and leadership.
