- As a full-stack product designer, you own the entire feature design lifecycle—from understanding provided business requirements to UX research to design to supporting delivery to usability testing post-launch.
- You’ll thrive in a distributed product culture, reporting to the CTO (within our shared services Engineering Team) while closely partnering with business-side product managers to translate business needs into great user experiences. To support your growth, you’ll receive mentorship and process training from a Fractional Head of Digital Product + UX Ops.

- ○ Own the outcome – You drive feature design from concept to launch, ensuring features meet
- business, user, and technical needs.

- ○ Bridge business and engineering – Partner with business-side product managers to align priorities, advocate for UX, and work with engineers to deliver effectively

Core Responsibilities
● Analyze business and design requirements
- ○ Review and annotate BRDs – Assess scope, flag gaps, and clarify with the Digital Product
- Manager.
- ○ Clarify in kickoff meetings – Resolve uncertainties and align expectations with stakeholders.
● Conduct and present design research
- ○ Analyze user and client data – Review personas, analytics, and usability insights
- ○ Research and ideate – Analyze competitors and generate concepts through workshops,
- storyboards, and mapping.
- ○ Define strategy – Translate research into user flows, feature lists, and interaction frameworks.
- ○ Present findings – Advocate for your design strategy and align with stakeholders before design.
● Design new features, moving from wireframes to pixel perfect designs
- ○ Create Lo-Fi wireframes – Draft quick wireframes and prototypes to test, iterate, and refine
- structure.
- ○ Refine with Mid-Fi designs – Define layout and interactions, while aligning early and often with
- stakeholders and engineering.
- ○ Finalize Hi-Fi designs – Deliver pixel-perfect, dev-ready designs that meet all requirements.
Write functional specification documents and support feature delivery
- ○ Own functional specs – Write and manage UI and interactive specs, coordinating with product,
- engineering, and content.
- ○ Lead spec kickoff – Align with engineering pre-build to review specs and address questions.
- ○ Support development – Assist engineers with QA, answer questions, and adjust for feasibility.
- ○ Analyze post-launch – Review analytics and usability data to identify improvements.
● Contribute to design system and product design ops
- ○ Manage the design system – Keep Figma updated, synced with code, and integrate new
- ○ Follow and improve product ops – Adhere to processes, attend ops meetings, and give
- feedback.
Qualifications
- ○ 5+ years of experience as a Product (UX | UI) Designer
- ○ Extensive experience in “full stack product design” — including business requirement analysis,
- UX design research, usability testing, wireframing, high fidelity design, and writing detailed
- product specification documents for engineering
- ○ Extensive experience in Figma and design system ownership and best practices
- ○ Experience as a Product (UX | UI) Designer in designing for a B2B2C, SaaS product suite
- ○ BA or BS in related field, or equivalent professional experience supported by subject matter
