Job summary

ESPN Product & Technology is seeking a Designer II, Product Design, to evolve and scale the design system powering our consumer products across mobile, desktop, and connected TV. You will work with cross‑functional teams to create reusable patterns and robust UX architectures.

The role emphasizes design tokens, component libraries, and AI‑assisted workflows. You will collaborate with product and engineering leaders to ensure consistency and impactful user experiences.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of relevant industry experience, or equivalent experience.
• Strong UX and product design foundation with scalable patterns.
• Experience with design systems, tokens, and cross‑platform consistency.
• Familiarity with AI tools and willingness to adapt workflows.

Responsibilities

• Define and scale a design system supporting consumer products across mobile, desktop, and connected TV.
• Design reusable interaction patterns and scalable UX frameworks for multiple use cases.
• Build and maintain components, design tokens, and variables across tools and code bases.
• Partner with Product, Engineering, and Design teams to drive adoption and consistency.
• Contribute to system standards, documentation, and governance.
• Present design decisions and rationale to stakeholders and senior leaders.
