Our platform empowers event creators to design, market, and scale successful events, from small community gatherings to large-scale festivals. As we continue to evolve, we need a Product Designer II who can take ownership of their work, solve complex design challenges, and help shape the future of our platform.

As a PD2, you’ll play a key role in defining intuitive, high-quality experiences for event creators and attendees. You’ll work with cross-functional partners to align design decisions with both user needs and business goals, ensuring that our products are not only functional but also delightful and impactful.

THE TEAM

You’ll be joining Eventbrite’s Product Design team, a passionate group of designers, researchers, and design program managers who are dedicated to creating best-in-class experiences. We work collaboratively with Product, Engineering, and Research teams to craft innovative solutions that make event creation seamless and successful.

As a PD2, you’ll have the opportunity to learn from senior designers, mentor junior designers, and contribute to a culture of design excellence. Our team values craft, quality, and user-centered thinking, and we’re looking for someone who shares our dedication to creating meaningful, high-impact products.

THE ROLE

As a Product Designer II, you’ll take ownership of design projects from start to finish, collaborating with cross-functional partners to create and refine user experiences. You’ll be responsible for designing solutions that are scalable, accessible, and aligned with Eventbrite’s broader vision. Over time, you’ll take on larger initiatives and begin mentoring junior designers to help elevate the team’s overall craft.

YOU WILL:
  • Own design projects and align them with Eventbrite’s broader vision.
  • Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and researchers to define problems and create user-centered solutions.
  • Solve complex design challenges, ensuring usability, accessibility, and scalability.
  • Uphold high standards of craft and quality, ensuring designs are polished, functional, and aligned with Eventbrite’s design principles.
  • Communicate design rationale clearly and influence product direction.
  • Contribute to and evolve Eventbrite’s design system.
  • Iterate on designs based on user research, data, and feedback.
  • Support a culture of design excellence and mentor junior designers as you grow.
THE SKILL SET:
  • Experience: 2-4 years of experience designing for web and mobile platforms.
  • Strong execution across multiple design disciplines, such as interaction design, visual design, and prototyping.
  • Systems Thinking: Ability to design for complex workflows and interconnected product ecosystems.
  • Comfortable using research, usability testing, and analytics to inform design decisions.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams (2-3 key partners) such as PMs, engineers, and researchers.
  • Ability to articulate design decisions, accept feedback, and align teams around a shared vision.
  • Strong attention to craft & quality, delivering polished, scalable, and accessible designs.
  • Proficiency in Figma and familiarity with prototyping tools like Framer or Principle.
  • Passion for learning, iteration, and continuous improvement.
BONUS POINTS:
  • Strong motion or interaction design skills.
  • Experience working on complex IA systems.
  • Knowledge of accessibility best practices.
  • Experience guiding junior designers and contributing to a culture of design growth.
