Job summary

Philips Bothell, WA is seeking a Product Designer to join a global design team shaping physical consumer products and hardware experiences from concept to launch. You will translate briefs into user needs, frame design challenges, and collaborate with engineering and packaging teams to ensure usability and feasibility.

A background in consumer electronics and 3+ years in product/industrial design is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's/Master's Degree in (UX) Design, Interaction Design, Visual Design, Computer Science Engineering or equivalent; OR 7+ years of above related experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; creative, empathetic, and adaptable.
• 3+ years of Product Design or Industrial Design experience; consumer electronics preferred.

Responsibilities

• Translate briefs into user needs and design opportunities; frame design challenges.
• Define design problems, success criteria, and requirements; sketch and ideate.
• Create experience flows and collaborate with engineering, interaction, and packaging teams.
