Job summary

The Los Angeles Dodgers is seeking a Product Designer to join the Baseball Research and Development team. You will create high‑fidelity prototypes, build design system components, and produce personas and user summaries to inform feature work.

Collaborating with researchers, developers, and stakeholders, you will help improve internal tools, document use cases, and contribute to research and testing processes while potentially reviewing portfolios and participating in interviews.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in related field, with 3+ years of product design experience.
• Experience contributing throughout the design process on shipped products.
• Expertise in Figma with proficiency with project management and agile collaboration tools.

Responsibilities

• Create high‑fidelity prototypes associated with feature‑level problems.
• Develop and document new design system components with usage guidelines for our Research and Development teams.
• Build strategic outputs (e.g. user personas) and connect product outcomes to the overall product vision.
• Present design rational and user research insights to cross‑functional stakeholders.
• Conduct user research with technical users on well‑scoped problems and collect feedback on high‑fidelity prototypes.
• Support the development and maintenance of systems that document use cases and user research insights.
• Apply organizational and industry best practices to find multiple solutions to feature‑level problems.
• Assess the usability of internal products and recommend improvement plans.
• Ensure team projects follow established project management processes and are completed on time.
• Contribute to cross‑functional design meetings and onboarding where needed.
• Review resumes/design portfolios, and participate in interviews.
