Job summary

Applied Intuition is seeking a product designer to work across tooling and HMI for fleet, mission-control, and vehicle-management systems. The role spans operational tooling and vehicle-adjacent interfaces to create a coherent software layer enabling teams to build and ship quickly.

You will collaborate with product managers and engineers to validate designs across tools, own design challenges, and drive fast release cycles with strong visual and interaction design.

Qualifications

• Experience in product, tools, or interaction design across enterprise, commercial, or consumer products.
• Strong visual and interaction design skills.
• Comfort taking ownership of ambiguous technical design problems.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-moving environment.
• Interest in real-time systems, defense, space, or robotics contexts.

Responsibilities

• Lead design for fleet management, mission-control, and vehicle-management software.
• Shape OTA update flows and internal workbench tooling for vehicle operating systems.
• Move between defense, commercial, and trucking use cases where design problems overlap.
• Collaborate with product managers and engineers to validate designs across tools and interfaces.
• Ship product surfaces in fast release cycles with significant design ownership.
