Job summary

Atalanta seeks a Product Designer in Washington, DC to design the core product experience of Argo. This role involves working closely with engineers and customers in high-stakes environments such as energy, space, and defense.

The ideal candidate will possess the ability to design intuitive workflows and interfaces, translate complex systems into usable features, and excel in communication with technical teams. A strong systems understanding and willingness to travel are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in designing digital products, ideally in complex or technical domains.
• Ability to design interfaces that help users understand complex systems.
• Strong systems thinking and translating technical concepts into user experiences.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to travel regularly to customer sites.
• Eligibility for TS/SCI security clearance required.

Responsibilities

• Design workflows and interfaces for complex software and hardware systems.
• Create visualizations helping users understand system architectures.
• Work closely with engineers to convert operational challenges into product capabilities.
• Explore new interaction patterns including AI-driven interfaces.
