Job summary

Informa PLC, a leading academic publishing and information services company, is seeking a Product Designer who will own end-to-end design from problem discovery to production-ready solutions, bringing product thinking to design and collaborating with Product Managers, Engineers and Researchers across Taylor & Francis.

You’ll conduct lightweight research, develop journey maps and service blueprints, build prototypes, contribute to design systems, and help shape design standards while maintaining

Qualifications

• Strong experience in product design or UX design.
• Portfolio showing end-to-end ownership of digital product experiences.
• Strong interaction and visual design skills with usability and accessibility focus.
• Genuine product instinct contributing to problem definition and prioritisation.
• Experience conducting user research and translating findings into design decisions.
• Proficiency in Figma and contributing to design systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design process end-to-end, from early sketches to high-fidelity production-ready designs.
• Explore multiple design directions and balance user needs, business goals and technical constraints using evidence.
• Design thoughtful interactions considering feedback, states, transitions and accessibility.
• Build and test prototypes from quick sketches to detailed interactive prototypes.
• Collaborate with Engineering and Product to understand technical constraints and support diverse user scenarios.
• Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of our design system.
