Job summary

Hook is seeking a Product Designer to lead the Studio experience across mobile and web, shaping a cohesive creation workflow with licensed music, video, and AI-powered tools. You will collaborate with product, engineering, and partners to ensure a thoughtful, scalable design across creators, labels, and artists.

You’ll navigate complex workflows, push for design system cohesion, and balance usability with powerful features for both casual creators and advanced users.

Qualifications

• 4–7 years of product design experience with complex workflows or creative tools.
• Strong product thinking with ability to identify problems and drive end-to-end solutions.
• Experience designing across mobile and web and collaborating with product/engineering.

Responsibilities

• Own and drive design for the Creator/Studio Platform across mobile and web.
• Design end-to-end creation workflows from first-use to advanced editing and publishing.
• Balance simplicity with creative power for both casual and power users.
• Translate product goals and user insights into high-quality design solutions.
• Prototype quickly, iterate based on feedback and data.
• Collaborate with Product and Engineering to ensure high-quality execution.
• Develop deep interaction design and craft for the overall experience.
• Maintain consistency and cohesion across surfaces and the design system.
• Support cross-platform journeys and partner-facing tools for labels/artists.
