Speak seeks a Product Designer to craft core moments for consumer learners, helping them build speaking confidence through AI-powered practice and feedback. You will drive onboarding, activation, and habit formation while collaborating with product, data, and engineering to raise the bar on user experience.

The role emphasizes fast, high-craft design in a startup environment, with opportunities to influence learning outcomes across regions and languages.

Qualifications

6+ years of product design experience for consumer products.
You stay close to users, translating insights into strategy and direction.
You frame problems clearly with narrative framings and key beats.

Responsibilities

Shape strategy and end-to-end product experiences for Speak’s consumer learning surfaces.
Design across onboarding, activation, habit formation, retention, and subscription experiences.
Prototype quickly in AI tools or interactive design tools to validate ideas.
Partner with Product, Data, Research, and Engineering to define opportunities and raise quality.
Use qualitative and quantitative signals to understand learner behavior and guide decisions.
Invent novel interaction patterns for AI-powered learning and maintain high craft.
