Job description

The Role

As our Product Designer for Apparel you'll own the full lifecycle of new styles, from concept and research through production. You'll bring the market and materials insight that shapes what we make, define the design direction for new styles, build the tech packs that bring your vision to life, own the sample and fit process, and hold our factories to the standard our athletes expect. This is a hands-on role with real ownership over how our product comes to life and where our design point of view goes next.

What You'll Own
  • Design Direction and R&D: Bringing market, materials, and construction research to the table, and using it to shape concepts and briefs
  • New Style Development: Designing new apparel styles end to end, from concept sketches through the tech packs that bring them to life
  • Sample Process: Owning samples end to end, from first proto through approval
  • Fit: Running fit sessions and owning the spec and grading across our size range
  • Development Calendar: Keeping styles on schedule and flagging risk to the timeline early
  • Factory Correspondence: Serving as the day to day point of contact with our factory partners on both new development and current production
  • Quality Control: Holding factories accountable to production quality and catching issues before they reach the customer
  • Costing Input: Partnering on costing conversations by understanding the construction and material tradeoffs behind the number
What We're Looking For
  • Experience: Design experience in apparel with increasing ownership over concept, development, and fit
  • Design and Technical Skill: Strong design sensibility paired with tech pack development, pattern and construction knowledge, and comfort running fit sessions
  • Factory Relationships: Experience communicating directly with overseas factories on development and production
  • Detail Oriented: Organized, thorough, and able to keep multiple styles moving at once without losing track of the details
  • Industry: Experience with or real interest in the sports, running, or active lifestyle space
Who Thrives Here

You're energized by building, not maintaining. You want to roll up your sleeves and do the work, and you're excited by the chance to help architect what we make next. You don't wait to be told what to look at, you find the problems, flag them, and come with solutions. Ambition is welcomed here, and so is having fun while you do it.
