Job summary

Abby Care is seeking an experienced Product Designer to join as the first in-house designer in San Francisco, CA. You will own end-to-end design across web and mobile for family caregivers, clinicians, and operators, shaping the product direction of an AI-powered platform.

This full-time hybrid role reports to the Head of Product and emphasizes design systems, multi-user workflows, and human-in-the-loop AI features while ensuring regulatory alignment and trust.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional experience as a product designer.
• Strong experience designing systems, workflows, and information architecture.
• Experience designing for multi-role, permissioned products.
• Experience across web and mobile.
• Comfort owning the full design process, including user research, synthesis, and iteration.
• Experience working in healthcare or other regulated, high-stakes industries is preferred.
• Experience at startups or on small, fast-moving teams is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end product design from problem framing through launch and iteration.
• Design durable design systems and workflows for multi-role platforms.
• Create experiences for family caregivers, clinicians, and operators across web and mobile.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with product, engineering, operations, clinical, and compliance teams.
• Contribute to AI-assisted and human-in-the-loop features while maintaining trust and regulatory alignment.
