Job summary

Stable is building an AI-forward design team in a builder-led environment. As a designer, you'll own work from discovery to delivery, partnering closely with engineering and stakeholders to ship impactful product decisions.

You'll design solutions at the intersection of software and physical operations, translating complex, real-world mail workflows into simple experiences used by 1M+ pieces of mail processing daily.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of product design experience at fast-moving companies.
• Experience as a product design generalist across research, UI, systems thinking.
• Interest in AI-assisted workflows and emerging design tools.
• Strong project management with ability to drive projects to completion.
• Excellent design foundations: hierarchy, layout, typography, interaction.
• Comfort with ambiguity and breaking down complex problems into milestones.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Preferred: experience at B2B companies.

Responsibilities

• Hunt for data and customer opportunities using internal MCP and dashboards.
• Make product decisions balancing intuition, data, and research.
• Design product solutions in Figma Make, Claude, or Cursor, refining in Figma or code.
• Partner with engineering in a pod to deliver value.
• Build and evolve design systems with reusable patterns.
• Bridge digital and physical workflows across real-world processes.
• Stay curious about AI tools and improve design delivery.
• Drive alignment with stakeholders across the company.
